The Upstream Production Cell Biology Technical Assistant is responsible for the upstream manufacture within production.

Die Rolle
Der Technische Assistent (m/w/d) Upstream Produktion ist für die zellbiologische Arbeiten im Bereich der Produktion verantwortlich.
Die Aufgabe ist abwechslungsreich und herausfordernd und beinhaltet folgende Schwerpunkte
- Allgemeine zellbiologische Aufgaben: Kultivierung unterschiedlicher Zelllinien Zellzählung, Kryokonservierung, Transfektion, Vitalitätsbestimmung
- Herstellung von Proteinen im Bereich Produktion ohne Aufsicht nach Bedarf
- Expression von rekombinanten Proteinen und monoklonalen Antikörpern
- Herstellung von Puffern, Lösungen und Nährmedien
- Pflege, Wartung und Instandhaltung von Laborgeräten
- Unterstützung der Mitglieder des Produktionsteams bei Bedarf
- Kalibrierung wichtiger Laborgeräte, einschließlich pH-Meter
- Betrieb der wichtigsten Laborausrüstung, einschließlich Fermenter, Zentrifugen, Inkubatoren
- Service-, Kalibrier- und Wartungskontrollen von Laborgeräten
- Durchführung der täglichen Reinigungskontrollen
- Verantwortung für die Pflege des individuellen Trainingsprotokolls
- Einhaltung der Gesundheits- und Sicherheitsvorschriften
- Erfüllen der täglichen Produktionsziele
- Bestellung von Laborartikeln

The Role
The Upstream Production Cell Biology Technical Assistant is responsible for the upstream manufacture within production.
The role will be varied and challenging with key elements including:
- General cell biological tasks: cultivation of different cell lines, cell counting, cryopreservation, transfection, determination of vitality
- To become competent in Production Protein manufacture without supervision as required
- Expression of recombinant proteins and monoclonal antibodies
- Production of buffers, solutions and culture media
- Care, maintenance and servicing of laboratory equipment
- Supporting production team members where necessary.
- Calibration of key laboratory equipment, including pH meters
- Operation of Key laboratory equipment, including fermenters, centrifuges, incubators
- Service, calibration and maintenance checks of laboratory equipment
- Completion of daily cleaning checks
- Responsible for maintaining individual training record
- Adhering to Health and Safety regulations
- Meet daily production targets
- Ordering laboratory items
- General laboratory work in the departments of the BBI Group
- Biological / Science related Degree (desirable)
- Experience in GMP / ISO13485 industry
- Fermentation experience
- Process Engineering Knowledge
- Skills in MS Excel and Word
- German level C1 and English level B2
