Director Business Process and Application Management (f/m/d)

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the ERP strategy for the Freudenberg Corporate units aligned with business goals, focusing on standardization, cost effectiveness and end-to-end (E2E) process optimization
  • Service Design and Delivery: Ensure that the services provided are clearly defined, aligned with customer needs, financially evaluated, and delivered professionally. This includes service provider management and the evaluation of near and/or off-shoring scenarios to increase cost effectiveness and service delivery performance
  • Implementation and Optimization: Lead the introduction, implementation, and continuous improvement of the relevant E2E Business and support processes across all corporate units and for selected group-wide and overarching projects and initiatives
  • Team Management: Build, lead, and mentor a global team of ERP, process and application specialists, including engineers and functional consultants, supporting cross-functional collaboration with other IT teams
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as a key liaison between key users and IT, as well as with the relevant Business Process Owners to identify and describe demands, define the process and system architecture and support a data and value driven decision making process by Business and IT Managers
  • Service Transition: Oversee ERP system upgrades, migrations, and new implementations, managing change, release, and deployment processes

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, or a comparable qualification with several years of SAP management experience
  • Ideally 6+ years of professional experience or consulting experience in the ERP system management and business process optimization area
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent project management and communication skills
  • Ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement
  • Excellent written and spoken German and English skills
  • ITIL V4 certification a plus
