Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of dry cargo vessels.
- Ensure compliance with international maritime regulations and company standards.
- Conduct vessel inspections and audits to maintain high performance and safety standards.
- Coordinate with shipmasters and crew to address operational issues and implement best practices.
- Assist in the development and execution of maintenance and repair schedules.
- Manage budgets and optimize operational costs.
- Provide technical support and guidance to vessel crews.
- Senior rank sailing experience and extensive shore-based experience as a Marine Superintendent.
- Strong knowledge of dry cargo vessel operations.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
- Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus.
