The Aachen Police Headquarters is the district police authority of the Ministry of the Interior of North Rhine-Westphalia and is responsible for the Aachen city region with the cities of Aachen, Alsdorf, Baesweiler, Eschweiler, Herzogenrath, Monschau, Stolberg and Würselen as well as the municipalities of Simmerath and Roetgen. The Aachen city region is characterized by its shared borders with the Netherlands and Belgium.   • Professional experience in the planning and project management of networks (LAN / WAN / W-LAN / V-LAN etc.)

  • Project manager responsible for equipping and updating all forms of network infrastructure (including wireless networks) for new builds and the operation and future-oriented alignment of existing properties.
  • Analysis and architecture of the data connection for mobile end devices for police command and operational resources. (Internet of Things: networking of smart devices for holistic task fulfillment).
  • Structured database integration into the existing network infrastructures and management (controlling) of the systems used.
  • Creation of concepts including security and risk analyses for the data storage systems operated in the police properties
  • Independent administration and processing in the area of network technology, OU administration data backup, server support, setup and technical support of printing stations

(KyoControl), license management for software products not bound to CN-Pol, advising users on the use of hardware and software, regular support, documentation and implementation of PC upgrades.

  • Ongoing creation, adaptation and updating of process descriptions for the area of responsibility or within projects
