The Team:

As an Intern/Working Student for the Competitive Intelligence function within the Solution Management team, you will be part of Celonis’ wider Strategy & Innovation organisation. You will be a member of a high-impact team, and assist in shaping the product and go-to-market positioning and strategy for the Celonis Platform and Solutions.

The Role:


In this interdisciplinary role, you start building out your market research expertise in addition to consulting and analytical skills. You will establish a deep understanding of the competitive landscape, adjacent software categories, and technology trends.

You will support the team with creating impactful assets to help the go-to-market teams position Celonis against competitors, conduct market research to help define the strategic positioning of the product and collect relevant market insights.

Finally, you will have the chance to drive projects of your own such as the evaluation of our programme’s performance and collect qualitative and quantitative feedback from Sales teams.

In this role, you will work with stakeholders across the company from Product, Marketing, Sales, Value Engineering, Partner Management, and Corporate Development.

The work you’ll do:

  • Conduct ongoing market research to collect relevant news and product announcements of Celonis competitors and adjacent market players.
  • Support the teams’ monthly reporting initiatives to inform the wider company about competitor and market movements.
  • Support the team in creating new content and maintaining existing resources which help go-to-market teams successfully position the unique differentiators of Celonis in the market.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to define Celonis’ go-to-market approach in strategic focus areas and support respective enablement efforts to the wider company.
  • Establish a thorough understanding of our competitive landscape and adjacent technological categories to support us in enabling our Go-To-Market teams to succeed

The qualifications you need:

  • Pursuing a university degree. All disciplines are welcome, but it is advantageous if you are studying Business Administration, Technology & Management, Information Systems, or a comparable program
  • Prior (internship) experience in management/strategy consulting, product marketing, market intelligence, or a comparable fast-paced environment
  • Previous market research experience is a plus
  • Are comfortable with ambiguous, ever-changing situations and seek opportunities to think outside the box
  • Ability to approach complex problems quantitatively, work in a structured way, learn new topics quickly while also working on the details
  • Agile and team-oriented with excellent presentation & communication skills in English
